Position: Formulation Scientist
The primary duties of the position include:
- Formulating a variety of OTC drugs including; oral care, sunscreen, anti-acne, topical analgesics, antimicrobial and antiperspirants, as well as skin treatment, hair care and general personal care formulations from concept to finished product based on requests from the marketing and related company departments, as well as generate ideas from within the R&D Department.
- Research product formulations and properties and interactions of raw materials.
- Set product specifications and write compounding procedures.
- Vendor research for raw materials.
- Scale-up of approved formulations, to include identification of critical process variables.
- Operation of R&D laboratory bench top equipment.
- Produce formulas for the company, on schedule that fit production requirements.
- Interpret results of laboratory findings and assess risks involved in new products, and communicate findings to sales and upper management.
- Remain up to date and current on trends in the retail market and trends on formulations materials, ingredients, etc.
- Utilize and follow relevant regulatory and legal requirements, regulations and product development standards.
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations, and cGMPs.
- Notebook documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidates should possess the following credentials, abilities and qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in formulating skin care products.
- Must possess knowledge/experience in Personal Care Applications.
- Previous experience in laboratory preparative chemistry of at least 5 years.
- Comfortable with polymer synthesis work.
- Experience with the preparation of polymers would be preferred but is not essential.
- Minimum of 3 years contract manufacturing experience.
- Experience in writing SOP’s/protocols/reports/procedures.

Associate Brand Manager
The primary duties of the position include:
- Prepare annual marketing plans in accordance with the company’s objectives.
- Evaluate product package design and display materials insuring that our products are merchandised at the lowest possible cost.
- Preparation of analytical materials comparing our product line against our key competitors.
- Monitor our products as they relate to our competition, i.e. new developments, competitive product lines, etc.
- Coordinate the implementation of new product and promotional programs with the Sales and Purchasing Depts.
- Research and develop new product concepts for possible new product lines and actively assess/recommend area for business expansion and growth.
Candidates should possess the following credentials, abilities and qualities:
- Associate Brand Manager must have 3-5 years experience in consumer products marketing with CPG experience; ideally in the Health and Beauty Care field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Well trained in fundamentals and self-starter who can rapidly grow.

Position: Marketing Director
The primary duties of the position include:
- Lead and manage multiple brands in a few different categories.
- Prepare annual marketing plans in accordance with the company’s objectives.
- Initiate and develop compelling advertising (TV, print, FSI’s, online; varies brand/category).
- Collaborate with relevant creative teams, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and maintain a current SWOT analysis of our products as they relate to our competition, i.e. new developments, competitive product lines, etc.
- Initiate and create / develop new product concepts for possible new product lines and actively assess/recommend area for business expansion and growth.
- Coordinate the implementation of new product and promotional programs with the Sales and Purchasing Depts.
- Lead the evaluation of product and package design with display materials ensuring that our products are merchandised at the lowest possible cost.
Candidates should possess the following credentials, abilities and qualities:
- 10+ years of Marketing experience with CPG industry; ideally in the HBC and specifically Skincare with some OTC experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, MBA preferred.
- Expertise with retail sales organizations and possess the ability to optimize synergies with National Accounts.
- Well trained in fundamentals and self starter who can rapidly grow and teach junior marketing team members.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Position: Print Buyer
The responsibilities of this individual include, but are not limited to:
- Work directly with Marketing/New Product Development to identify samples/pricing/design alternatives to support new initiatives.
- Interact with product managers and planners to source for cartons, labels, blister cards, RSCs, SBS counter displays.
- Create and submit POs for approval to demand forecasts.
- Initiate and evaluate new supplier sources, and negotiate pricing.
- Assist with Quality Control.
- Ensure accuracy of proofs, press proofs, CAD samples, and printed samples and circulate for approvals (including backup documentation) when needed.
- Monitor and track delivery schedules to ensure production schedule is maintained.
- Manage vendor relationships and communicate approvals as well as any changes expected.
- Work with Art Department to secure art, proofs, and samples.
- Coordinate ship tests, as required.
This candidate should possess the following qualifications & abilities:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in purchasing primary and secondary packaging or 10+ years within the printing industry working initially in prep and sep, production, then planning.
- Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and an MRP system preferred.
- Solid work ethic, good communication skills, detail oriented and the ability to interact clearly in a fast paced environment.
- Strong reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills.
